A common approach to attempting to recognize what exactly is the mind of Christ, is to place our thoughts in the place where the Master's thoughts should be and expect a blend of good ideas from all parties. The truth that is often ignored, is the fact that we don't necessarily think like God and most certainly, He does not think like us. However, we generally feel as if, both minds are very similar. Our natural thoughts are mixed with the cares of our life, affections, passions, desire and ambitious drives. Those thoughts are often self-driven, where the Masters are not.
So now it becomes a question of which will dominate the actions of people, our mind or the Spirit which desires to bring proper guidance to our steps. Submitting to and trusting in a God that wants the best for your life, is essential. This helps in avoiding chaos in our decision making as well as our actions. We need correct thinking and the spirit of correction within our life. This brings foundation to our faith and produces results that cannot be refuted. The mind is indeed the battle ground, wow, how often have we heard this? Yet, with all of its simplicity, it remains true. Pitfalls are always accessible and available, but how to steer clear of them, can only come when there is a spirit filled mind present.
Allow the spirit to rule and lead you in all matters of your life and escort you to godly clarity. Any mixture of flesh and personal or private objectives will always lead to confusion and frustration because the end results will not be as we intended. Proverbs 3:6 says to "acknowledge the Lord in all of our ways, and he will direct our path." That's what we want more than anything, a directed path. It will always lead to the purpose that the Father have ordered for our life.
